Energy efficiency in Sub-Saharan Africa via e-learning

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

UNINETTUNO International Telematic University is looking for two African Universities in order to complete the consortium. Given the project focus on  energy efficiency, we welcome Universities priding on expertise in engineering and energy access.

This proposal aims to enable cooperation between European and African Higher Education Institutions, in order to design and implement a joint Master’s course on innovative solutions meant to improve access to energy in South-Saharan countries. The project aims to train young engineers  to design, install and maintain renewable energy plants.
The program will be designed for e-learning delivery. This will allow students to
attend courses produced by highly qualified European and African professors without having to leave their own country and to receive a degree acknowledged at both national and European levels. Moreover, the project will also provide African partner Universities with all the  technology and skills needed to design and deliver distance learning academic programs.

The consortium is in need of two universities form Sub-Saharan countries offering degrees in engineering and having had experience in dealing with energy efficiency.
