Ms. Marta Alonso
About me:
I am the president of Amigos de Nyumbani in Spain and we are very much interested on providing training for trainers in Renewable Energy in order to ensure the sustainability of our electrification project a Nyumbani Village in Kitui, Kenya.
Lack of access to modern energy services is a serious hindrance to economic and social development and must be overcome if the UN MDGs are to be achieved.
Sub-Saharan Africa, despite its numerous natural advantages (extremely favourable sun and wind conditions, big hydro potential and important sustainable biomass potential) and its dramatic needs, is not part of the global upswing of renewable energy.
The idea is to have a wide range of African people expertise on the different aspects of Renewable Energy Systems for the community benefit.
In any other organisation is interested on this subject it will be welcome to contact me.
